The Salon des Indépendants is an art exhibition organized each year in Paris since 1884. It was founded by Albert Dubois-Pillet, Odilon Redon, Georges Seurat, Paul Signac and Edmond Eugène Valton, who was Marcel L'Enfant's teacher, and the President of the "Société des Artistes Indépendants" from 1889 to 1908. The initial purpose of this exhibition was to allow every artists to exhibit freely their work, away from any jury's influence.
Marcel L'Enfant started exhibiting his work at the Salon des Indépendants in 1906, and then attended every exhibitions from 1912 to his death. We found on the
